I always knew I would write books, and several areas of interest were pretty obvious, but it never crossed my mind I would write a marriage book — let alone that it would be my first to be published. I am however glad this is my reality as I was talked into this on my 25th wedding anniversary in 2019 by my sister, who felt this book of many stories will empower marriages. So, here we are two years down the line; I have the privilege of sharing from my journey of 25 years in a harmonious marriage.
Family is the most important basic unit of society and I am grateful to God to have an avenue to contribute to shaping this foundation through this book.

About the Author
Funke Amobi is an accomplished HR professional who is passionate about people matters. She is a deeply devoted family person and ordained church worker. She leads the TREM Career Academy of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission, Lagos Nigeria where she interacts with young people, essentially focused on enabling workplace readiness.
Born second of five girls, Funke is a committed wife to Fred, a business executive, and a doting mother to their adorable son Chimnedum. She has, in her over 25 years of marriage, played the role of mentor and coach to several young couples in the pursuit of building happy homes.
Funke is a dedicated homemaker who believes that life is about loving, living and leaving a legacy of empowering others.
Funke is a much sought-after public speaker nationally and internationally, and a multiple award winner who currently serves as the Country Head, Human Capital, Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc. in Lagos, Nigeria.
